I am Vickie Short, and I bring over 12 years of experience in local government to my role. I began my career as an Accounts Receivable Clerk for Flowery Branch, where I quickly advanced to the position of City Clerk. My journey continued with Barrow County as County Clerk, and I was later promoted to County Manager. In May 2024, I joined the City of Porterdale as City Manager. I am known for my boundless energy and my ability to connect with people. I am always ready to assist residents and am passionate about the city’s rich history. I am committed to fostering growth and development in this charming mill village. It is a pleasure to be part of this wonderful community, and I look forward to working together to achieve great things!
